Iran has met a key target for its nuclear program and now has 3,000 centrifuges enriching uranium, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said.

Of course this enriched uranium would only be used for peaceful purposes like power plants....right?

UN folks are just dense, stupid, or both? They are buying this bundle of lies? Whatever happened to good old fashioned logic and common sense? Iran hates the western world and with a sufficient nuclear arsenal would wipe us out, a sentiment they don't even try to conceal. WHY are we being 'sporting' about it and waiting for them to reach a point where they can BE the disaster they want to be? It seems to me that a little commone sense could go a long way here towards the future of the western world by simply erasing this cancer on the globe. The world as we know it is a MUCH smaller place than it ever used to be. The blights that arise need to be dealt with on a global level, not one nation against another. Watching a rattlesnake from a distance is fine but when it gets within striking distance, it is time to cut off its head. OK, what do you think? Should we ignore Iran and its nuclear development or should more positive steps be taken to curtail the future problem?
