HELLO????? Has law enforcement completely taken leave of its senses? If the call is for NOT WATERING THE LAWN, the suspect is a 70 year old woman, is brute force and handcuffs required?

Charged with RESISTING ARREST and NOT MAINTAINING HER LANDSCAPE...give me a break. So once again we have an over-zealous cop with a complete lack of common sense, over doing his bit by arresting this woman and in the process she winds up with a bloody nose! Hmmm, does Gestapo come to mind? This woman was not a bank robber, drug dealer, criminal mastermind, she just wasn't watering her lawn. The mayor and city council of Orem, Utah apologized. Big deal, the city attorney is STILL pressing charges. Since we are going to charge this old woman for resisting arrest and not watering, I guess the next step is to beat Grandma with a rubber hose for shopping. I guess this is the reason all the bad guys are running rampant, law enforcement is too busy busting old ladies for not watering the lawn! Scary, this is the world we live in...
