Six months of fussing and fuming may finally pay off. The target of my frustration, the ex-owner of an RV I bought is going to meet me at the tag agency and we will finally get the title into my name. There is a lesson to be learned here, be absolutely certain the paperwork on any vehicle you buy is complete. Failing to do this can lead to much gnashing of teeth.
With a theoretical end in sight, I can once again begin thinking of the various repairs and remodeling the RV will require before use. Redoing cabinets and woodwork is right up my alley and I am actually looking forward to replacing the flooring and making things look spiffy. The majority of the work will make its way to these pages, complete with pictures. OK, so I am a glutton for punishment, I am looking forward to all this work. Of course, AFTER the major task of title and tag, the next big thing is driving this monster the hundred or so miles from where it is, to my house. Once at my house, I have to park the 29 foot beast and still leave room in the driveway for other vehicles and the occasional guest. It will be interesting. I already have a neighbor who has volunteered to assist me with the awning and figuring out what additional hardware it will require to be fully functional. Yes, it has been a long time coming but things are looking promising. I may soon be able to say I have TITLE for a motorhome, not just I HAVE a motorhome. Have a great day!
