I am walking the walk, and talking the talk, I FINALLY got the title and tag for the old RV I bought! Sometimes, it can get really frustrating when the run around you are getting is from the state, and you know there is nothing you can do about it. Word to the wise, have ALL your paperwork up front and correct or you will run circles trying to comply.

Considering all the previous problems I've had trying to get tag and title, I popped the extra bucks and got the INSTANT TITLE option. Now, there is NO WAY I can have issues, the title is in MY NAME. Done deal. The next hurtle will be driving the beast from my folks house to mine. The tires have lots of tread along with lots of cracks. I'm not seeing air, but I expect to at any moment. Since I was able to hob-nob with the previous owner, a really nice lady who was as glad to get all this done as I was, I found out a few more potential problems. It seems squirrels had a meal or two on some of the wiring so, I will be checking out wiring along with all the other repairs needed. She informed me that I could expect 10-11 mpg on the highway. That is better than I get in my old truck so I am impressed and hope she is right. Once the monster arrives at my house, my shop will once again be a frenzy of activity as I go about rebuilding, remodeling, troubleshooting, and tweaking, in my effort to turn this into something usable again. The cabinets and woodwork portion I am looking forward to. That OTHER stuff, well, I will just trudge along with it until I get it done. It's old. It has low miles on it. It WILL be used again. On the road again...if you can't hear the music that goes with that, you must be listening to the wrong music! Have a good one!!
