Yes, some days it certainly seems like the ideal solution is to just run away from it all. The world has a way of weighing us down with enough trivial stuff to become unbearable.
It is only unbearable because WE allow it to be. A more realistic approach is to simply take the day for what it is. One day, bad or good, can be handled. One day cannot make or break us unless we allow it to. One day is a walk in the park, a small piece of a very big picture. OK, so today is absolutely awful, tomorrow may be the lottery. The challenge of life is to manage all those single days into one big ball called a life. The tally of that life is not based on a single day, it is based on the total of ALL those days. Every one of those days, good or bad, contribute to the whole and each has meaning. In theory, we learn from and are made better by the bad days and have enough common sense to make the best of the good ones. There really isn't a good day to run away, only a good day to remember. Making the best of the bad, enables us to more enjoy the good. It all comes down to your frame of mind. Make the best of what you've got and appreciate the life you have. Today is today, no more, no less. Tomorrow is yet to come, a future not yet seen. THIS day, whatever it brings, is precious. Words to live by. Not easy, but what is? Have a GREAT day today and a better one tomorrow!
