Bee venom therapy is just one more minor reason that the human race needs bees. Science is beginning to understand that there is real benefits to the venom, just as the beekeeping world is struggling to keep going.
2012 has been predicted to be the end of the world. December 21st to be exact. I wonder if this will prove to be more accurate than all the other end of world predictions?
At what point did animals become more important than humans? I like animals for the most part and I can indeed feel for them when they are injured or otherwise mistreated. I also enjoy them with gravy and biscuits. Yes, I see some animals as food and others as pets, the two are not interchangeable.
The body dies. We begin dying the day we are born. As we age we become more aware of our pending demise. It is an inescapable fact of life. Oops, here come the cryogenic folks. We can FREEZE you, we can save you.
Tired of fighting all the Vista issues? Desperately in need of a solution or two? OK, you can always go back to XP or you can shrug off the MS chains and try something different, try Ubuntu!
It's easy to piss and moan about the cost of living. The price of gas, the price of bread, the price of rice, and the price of everything else you can think of. Most of us are pissing and moaning but doing nothing about it.
Government officials appear to be official on things that truly don’t matter. Run away budgets, gas prices, inflated economies and they are busy passing laws about bull balls hanging on trucks. Artificial balls at that!
Uh, duh. Considering the price of gas, of course gas theft will rise. 50 to 100 bucks a pop for a tankful, you can bet somebody is going to try and steal it!
With the economy being what it is, if you have a job you need to keep it. If you need a job, they are hard to come by. Times are getting tough and look to be getting tougher. With these thoughts in mind, it is a bad time to leave a job and a worse time to try something new.
Check out the barter section on Craigslist for your area. You will probably be surprised at some of the stuff people are trying to barter for, or with. This trend will continue as cash supplies tighten and folks continue to need/want other things.
Yes, we take for granted that we will have fuel for our vehicles. WHY we believe this is unknown since the reality is we WILL run out. OK, so the folks with lots of money will drive longer than us poor folks since we just won't be able to afford the fuel. That fact doesn't change anything since EVERYTHING we currently use gets moved by fuel.
The videos being produced by everyone and their brother leaves me wondering why? Why produce a video that shows the world how completely obnoxious you can be? Does the world REALLY need to know this?
Why is it that we continue to support a world that overall hates Americans? Hasn't anybody figured out that the more we do for the world, the more it hates us? Americans aren't safe traveling in the very countries we support. Something wrong with this picture and I think it is time to stop.
Chances are real good that if it is good for me, I don't like it. If it is a healthy choice, it's not my choice. I seem to have taste buds that instantly detect healthy options and decline.
Never one to be on the cutting edge of anything, owning a robot of any kind was just not in my scheme of things. Well, things change. My smarter half hates to mop as bad as I hate to vacuum. When I mentioned a robot sweeper, she instantly picked up on a robot mopper. Mopping robot it was.
Fat, old fingers don't always work as well as we would like. Manipulating a small aluminum clamp, under the bed rail, behind the bedliner is a recipe for disaster. Toss in a strategically placed hole in the bed body and the disaster is guaranteed. Fumble, fumble, "Oh Darn!" (yah, right) the clamp nose dived from my fumbling fingers into the hole in the truck bed, never to be seen again.
When you are up before the chickens since you can't sleep due to heartburn, you know you've got it bad. Why heartburn? Why not stomach burn, throat burn, esophagus burn? My heart isn't burning...
TV, and its programming, believes we are idiots. We have absolutely no grasp of reality. Think about the folks you see on TV then look around you at the store. Do you see ANY resemblance?
Yes, against all better judgment, I bought a new truck. In so doing I doubled my miles per gallon and tethered myself for years of car payments. I'm not sure the new smell is worth the cost. I AM sure the improved mileage IS.
Yesterday this blog experienced and all out attack on its comment section by spammers. I have no problems with comments on articles, positive OR negative. The fastest way for a company to lose my business is to lie to me. I REALLY take exception at that and we aren't talking a loss of business for a day or two, lie to me outright and you have lost my business for life!
One of the things aging can do for you is force you into a position where eyeglasses are required. This was not the case for me as I have worn glasses since I was 16 years old, my wife however made it into her 40's before vision needed correction. Going to the eye doctor is always and adventure...
