America has a history of outstanding presidents. Unfortunately, they are all in the past. What happened to candidates with integrity and solid values? You know the kind I mean, ones that don't sidestep and sashay away from addressing problems that face the nation. The ones that can look you square in the eye and give honest answers? Have we really sunk so low that what is running now is the best we have to offer?

It is more than mildly disturbing when you you are forced to vote based on the lesser of the two evils. Now, it is hard to decide which IS the lesser of the evils. I can't help but wonder how many people simply won't vote this time because they have nobody to vote for? Do you suppose the parties are doing this to us on purpose? The political game has become just that, a game. The folks running no longer support the people, they support big business, hidden agendas, and ANYTHING other than the people of this country. The PEOPLE of this country no longer control the government and haven't done so in years. The government does as it Damn well pleases and there is nothing we can do about it. IF we had any real say in things, we would have candidates worth voting for. It is a sad state of affairs when the candidates put forth by the parties are not any better than what we are seeing. Assuming this is a sign of the times, we are in big trouble.
