The scientific community is always either searching for proof that God exists or searching for proof that he does not. Finding Noah's ark would go a long way in proving the Bible as a historical document, thereby proving God. Many people are involved in the effort and they do all they can to prove one way or another that there is a God.
Believers have no issues with this because they believe. It is very simple, the Bible said it, I believe it, done deal. They can do this through faith. God gave us the option of free will and we can believe, or not. After a recent conversation, I got to thinking about this pretty good. Knowing that we have the option, and it is up to us to have faith, believe in God, or not have faith and not believe in God, I doubt we will ever find proof positive because that would negate faith. We either believe, or we don't. The argument then becomes how can you believe in something you have never seen? Well, I have never seen gravity. Yes, I believe. No, I don't argue or debate religion. The Bible says it, I believe it. That is that.
