I DO get lucky once in a while! The mail lady liked the stray cat that turned up here and took it home with her.
My birds are no longer picketing me and I personally, am greatly relieved. That is the closest I have come to having a cat, not by choice but, simply because the cat claimed me. It was indeed a nice cat, it followed me around like a dog and was ALWAYS underfoot and in the way. I am glad it is gone.
The mistake I made was in feeding the thing. I can't stand the idea of anything going hungry around my house so I fed it. This was a BAD idea. Hopefully, I won't be placed in that position again.
IF you are going to have pets, take care of them, DON'T dump them off someplace just because you are tired of them. YOUR pets are YOUR responsibility!
