Woodworking shops don't, or at least shouldn't look as bad as mine. The pixs show not neccessarily too much stuff as much as badly organized stuff. The shop is approx 285 sq ft, horrendously NOT organized into a workable shop. The plans at this point are pretty simple...yea,right..."simple" The shop will get a wood floor to make it a lot easier on these old bones to stand in there for extended periods of time. Dust collection and wiring will run beneath the floors so I can quit tripping over cords.

The south wall will benefit from a lumber rack and general storage. The north wall will get bench tops and storage beneath as well as being home for the radial arm saw. The west wall (big opening with doors) will likely be partially blocked by the wood lathe and somewhere close by that will be the bandsaw. The east wall will be used for all else that remains.

Somewhere in the middle will be the main workbench/assembly bench. I wish it was as easy as just talking about it and it would get done...
