Instead of doing all things woody in my shop, I've been out in the yard.  I have it fixed in my mind that I want to grow a garden and I want to grow it in a raised bed.  The logic is perfectly sound, the bed won't be so low to the ground so my back won't complain as much.  The other big plus is I can fill it with real dirt rather than Florida sand and things might actually grow for a change!

From the picture you can see all the detail you might need as to how it was assembled.  Yes, it was dry stacked and if I really want to, I CAN undo it.  The dirt was a combination of two bags topsoil to one bag composted manure, all readily available from Walmart.  OK, so I added some stepping stones around it to make it look a bit better.  I figure to fill the holes in the block with dirt and plant some flowers which will also look better.  What can I say?  I have been busy.  OK, quit looking, you need to be making chips!!!
