If you have read much here, you know I am partial to Ryobi tools. NO, I don't get them free, I spend my money on them just like everybody else. BECAUSE it is MY money, I don't always go for the most expensive thing I can find, I go with what I can afford. The majority of the time, I come away pleased with my purchase. As for usage, I fall somewhere in-between the weekend warrior and the full time dynamo. I use my tools a LOT. I don't baby them, and on occasion, I DO abuse them. Like I said, I USE my tools. My last benchtop router table was a Ryobi and matched up with the Ryobi router that hung on it, it wasn't bad. I disliked the fact that it was a little on the small side but functionally, it worked out pretty good. When the router died, I replaced it and continued using it.
The latest trip to one of my favorite toy stores opened my eyes to a new Ryobi router table, this one is bigger! A little creative traveling (the first store was sold out of them) I found one and made it mine. Assembly was pretty straight forward, under an hour and it was ready to go. The top is bigger, it has adjustable fingers for holding your work down as you feed it, and is an absolute work of art. This is still a benchtop router table, a good fit for the small shop that uses a router a good bit. This router table is great! I canceled my plans for building a bigger table that will take up room I can ill afford to lose and opted for this instead. So far, it is working well and I have some big plans for it in the near future, provided I ever get away from my 'honey do' list. IF you are considering a router table, take a look at the Ryobi "Intermediate" table. I think you will be pleased. So far I have romped my way through several sticks of cherry using the table for edge jointing them prior to gluing them up. I am pleased with my results. Get out there and make some chips!!!
There is also a manual in a PDF on there site.
