If you do any amount of woodwork and aren't familiar with biscuit joiners you need to wake up and smell the coffee! Those little pressed wood wafers they call biscuits sure can make quick and strong joints. The intial hit for the joiner and assorted biscuits may seem steep if you don't do many larger projects; However, if you do bigger projects these little goodies are great for speeding things up and they give reliable results. If it hadn't been for biscuits and pocket screws, I would have never finished building all the cabinets for my kitchen. They save time and much aggrevation. In my mind they are pure gold!
