For sale - Original DELTA ROCKWELL Model #937, CAST IRON wood lathe face plate with the "DDL 179" CASTING NUMBERS on this all cast-iron, excellant condition and very clean quality DELTA LATHE 6" diameter faceplate; THIS HARD TO FIND FACEPLATE HAS THE DUAL THREADS ; Has LH / RH 1" - 8 TPI threads; IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND NO CRACKS, NOTHING BROKEN, THREADS CLEAN AND TIGHT; FULLY READY TO USE; this faceplate can be mounted on both ends of the lathe headstock and used for inside and outside lathe turning, as well as an outside assist handle, to slowly turn lathe when doing fluting, REEDING, ETC.; it also has the desirable elongated slots in the faceplate, (four each at 90 DEGREES APART), FOR SECURING YOUR WORK WITH WOOD SCREWS, ETC. and this hole placement which is only on older DELTA FACEPLATES, allows a wider range of work piece sizes to be mounted on the plate; the NEWER CURRENT DELTA MODEL 46-936 FACE PLATE, which is made in taiwan now and china, has only four each single screw holes in the plate in a fixed location, limiting the work piece sizes you can mount to it. Homemade Lathe (cupertino) $50
We bought this from someone on craigslist about 2 years ago and are now moving into an RV and need to find another good home. This is a really heavy and solid wood lathe, which, unfortunately, got caught outside in the rain while we were on vacation. It seems to be in okay shape, despite the weathering. My husband rigged it up to work on a foot pedal so we do not know if the motor still works. Price is as-is and we'll consider offers.

Wood Flagpole $750
Wooden flagpoles date back to the days of wooden ships when seaport craftsmen, skilled in shaping spars for masts and yard arms, turned out the earliest poles in spar yards.
Today, the grace, charm, and look of wooden flag poles with their square bottom portion and tapered cylindrical shaft are still the perfect finishing touch for your landscape.
I start with select kiln dried Douglas Fir 2 x 6s. They are then laminated for strength. The blank is then turned on a custom built lathe to taper elegantly from its square base to its top. The pole is finished with two coats of marine grade epoxy and two coats of white marine enamel.
Included in the price is almost everything you need to start flying your flag. A galvanized steel bracket holds the pole above ground. This prevents moisture damage from ground contact and allows you to lower your pole for maintenance. A gold ball, truck, halyard, flag clips, cleat, and US flag complete the package.
All you need to add is a hole and some concrete.
